How to Choose a Canine Cooler Bed

HOW TO CHOOSE A PROPER SIZE BED:
When your dog is lying down, measure body length from base of tail to tip of nose and add 5” to 7”

SMALL - 18” x 24”
For small dogs, 30 lbs. or less like Min. Poodles, Pugs, Boston Terriers, Lhasa Apsos, Pekinese, Pomeranians, French Bulldogs, Yorkies, Shelties, and Mixed breeds.

MEDIUM - 24” x 36”
For medium size dogs, 65 lbs. or less, like Keeshonds, Springer Spaniels, Pit Bull Terriers, Bulldogs, Bassett Hounds, Mid-sized Labs and Goldens, Boxers, Dalmatians and Mixed Breeds.

LARGE - 36” x 48”
Breeds using the Large sized beds include German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, larger Labs and Goldens, Dobermans, Old English Sheep Dogs, Bouviers, Collies, Bull Mastiffs, Newfoundland, Great Danes.

EXTRA LARGE - 36” x 72”
Note: This bed comes in 2 pieces that are positioned to measure 36” x 72”

The X-Large is for Giant breeds and families with several dogs that will sleep together if they are cool enough. The Giant breeds are more sensitive to size (they want to fit their whole body on it comfortably) so you should buy the X-Large if you have a St. Bernard, Great Dane, Mastiff, Irish Wolfhound, or more than one dog in your family.
